On October 18, 2022, my TEXTILE NEWS, the new online portal powered by the KARL MAYER GROUP, went live. The website for textile professionals opens a completely new, exciting media world in which everything revolves around the technologies of warp knitting, flat knitting, warp preparation, technical textiles and composites. Innovative textile production solutions will be presented, as will textile product and market developments. Other focal points are topics such as digitalization, sustainability, general market trends and business opportunities l.

Launch of a new industry online portal with exciting content

Navigating the menus is easy with sub-menus aimed at information needs of textile producers, textile product brands, designers and product developers.

Under "Textiles in Use" the reader will find out how new and innovative warp knitted and flat knitted fabrics are used in a wide variety of applications and with a wide variety of designs.

The "Production" section focuses on textile manufacturing, with articles about new machines, new technological solutions, support products and digital products. Focus is on warp knitting, flat knitting, warp preparation, and composites.

R&D projects, prototype developments, general market trends and new partnerships are presented in the "Trends & Innovations" section with particular focus on digitalization and sustainability.

With "Fairs&Events" the reader is always up to date when it comes to trade exhibitions, webinars, seminars and conventions, but also news from the world market leader, the KARL MAYER GROUP.

In addition to strong and interesting content, readers can look forward to inspiration, fun reading and entertainment. "The textile industry is diverse, dynamic and innovative like hardly any other industry. Topics are exciting and varied. I am pleased to be able to use my TEXTILE NEWS as a very modern and flexible publishing platform," says Editor-in-Chief Ulrike Schlenker. For more than 20 years, she wrote the articles for "Kettenwirk-Praxis". This printed textile magazine is now being discontinued.

STOLL: Agreement signed for the divestiture of selected assets

In early 2025, KARL MAYER announced its strategic decision to focus on its core business areas of WARP KNITTING, WARP PREPARATION, and TECHNICAL TEXTILES. As part of this move, the flat knitting machine business under the STOLL brand was discontinued and the production site in Reutlingen was closed in October 2025.

New spinning package with two-step filtration for recycled yarns and more
