Groz-Beckert at the Innovate Textile & Apparel Virtual Trade Show

2020 has proven to be a challenging year in many respects – this also applies to holding trade fairs. The coronavirus pandemic has meant that many traditional trade fairs could not take place and new ways had to be found to provide a forum for professional exchanges in the industry. This is precisely why the Innovate Textile & Apparel Virtual Trade Show is taking place for the first time in 2020 under the motto "Reconnecting innovation in the textile & apparel value chain“.

The event is being organized by WTiN (World Textile Information Network) in Leeds, UK. Groz-Beckert will also be represented with a virtual booth at this trade fair.

The Sales and Technology employees from the Knitting and Weaving product areas will be there for you around the clock for 15 days worldwide.

Groz-Beckert will be offering a technical seminar on circular knitting, meetings, live chats, brand new videos and much more. Visitors will receive details on the contents of the seminar, the products presented and information on arranging meeting dates shortly before the start of the trade fair.

Groz-Beckert showcases textile innovation at ShanghaiTex 2025

From December 16 to 19, 2025, the global textile industry will gather at ShanghaiTex at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC), where Groz-Beckert will present its latest highlights and innovations across its five product areas – Knitting, Weaving, Nonwovens, Sewing, and Spinning – at Hall N3, Booth A05.

New spinning package with two-step filtration for recycled yarns and more

At the ITM in Istanbul, BB Engineering unveiled its new, patented ValuePack spinning package for the first time, which features a two-stage filtration system. This is particularly beneficial for re-cycling processes. Until now, spinning packs have used either metal powder (“sand”) or filter candles as filter media. Both options are suitable for differ-ent applications, and each has its own specific advantages and dis-advantages.
