RadiciGroup strengthens its position in the nonwoven sector and exhibits new products at Index
Tessiture Pietro Radici – part of the RadiciGroup Extrusion Yarn Business Area – is the company that specialises in the production of Dylar® spunbond non-woven fabrics, designed – as well as for use in sanitation – especially for industrial application sectors, such as building insulation, the automotive industry, agriculture, furnishings and disposable products. The non-woven fabrics are available in different weights and colours to meet the varying market demands and the range of choice is set to increase with the new production line currently under development.
“By the end of this year – stated Enrico Buriani, CEO of Tessiture Pietro Radici – a new production line will be put into action to manufacture spunbond fibres (based on Bico Technology), which will allow us to increase our production capacity by about 50%”.
Radici Yarn and Radici Chemiefaser of the Comfort Fibres Business Area, leader in the production of nylon staple fibre for technical and traditional clothing and for high quality carpets and rugs, expand their production to include products for the abrasives sector (both household and industrial), the multi-application non-woven fabrics sector and the felt sector for manufacturing and filtration.
These products form part of the well-known family of Radilon® polyamide 6 staple fibre products, to which is added the brand new range of dorix® teck polyamide 66-based products, produced in the very latest lines specifically designed to guarantee maximum performance and the very highest standard of quality available today.
Radilon® Staple Fibres and dorix® teck are available in both raw and solution-dyed versions, with a choice of various colours and a guarantee of optimum performance in any specific application.
