Groz-Beckert with product area Carding at INDEX™ in Geneva

INDEX™ will take place in Geneva, Switzerland, from 18 – 21 April 2023. Over 660 exhibitors and around 13,000 visitors from more than 100 countries are expected. Groz-Beckert will be presenting the latest innovations from its product area Carding to visitors at booth 2541.

INDEX™ in Geneva is the leading international trade fair for the nonwovens sector. Every three years, companies present the latest innovations from the industry on an exhibition area of over 50,000 m2 – among them also Groz-Beckert's product area Carding.

The InLine card clothing series for the nonwovens industry will take center stage at the Groz-Beckert exhibition booth. A new and patented manufacturing process made the development of the innovative metallic card clothing series possible. It offers customers improved process reliability and increased uptime of the card. At the same time, the new process enables environmentally friendly and resource-saving production.

In addition to a controlled and precise hardening of the teeth, the wires are characterized by a reduced rib height and a completely scale-free surface. An exhibit at the booth will demonstrate what distinguishes the new process from the conventional production method and will highlight the differences between the new Groz-Beckert InLine card clothing series and its predecessor generation.

The first special geometry of the Groz-Beckert InLine card clothing series to be developed was the SiroLock™ plus worker and doffer wire. It impresses with a more effective fiber take-up, control and transfer. Augmented reality will allow visitors to experience the functionality and operating principle behind SiroLock™ plus at INDEX™.

Groz-Beckert showcases textile innovation at ShanghaiTex 2025

From December 16 to 19, 2025, the global textile industry will gather at ShanghaiTex at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC), where Groz-Beckert will present its latest highlights and innovations across its five product areas – Knitting, Weaving, Nonwovens, Sewing, and Spinning – at Hall N3, Booth A05.

Itema to showcase weaving excellence at ITM 2026

From June 9 to 13, Itema will exhibit at ITM 2026 in Istanbul (Hall 8 – Stand 806D), unveiling a distinctive exhibition concept designed to highlight the Company’s expertise across the entire weaving value chain. Applications for the Start-Up Valley at ITMA 2027 close tomorrow, offering young technology companies the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of several successful participants from the 2023 edition. The initiative, organised under the CEMATEX Start-Up Grant programme, has already helped a number of textile start-ups accelerate their transition from early-stage concepts to industrial partnerships, funding rounds and commercial deployment.
