MUNICH FABRIC START: Frank Junker steps down as Creative Director and Shareholder

The organisers of MUNICH FABRIC START Exhibitions GmbH today announced Frank Junker's decision to step down as Creative Director and shareholder of MUNICH FABRIC START Exhibitions GmbH after around 20 years. The long-standing advisor to the international fabric trade show in Munich wishes to devote himself to new entrepreneurial tasks and projects in the event industry.

“The past few years have been an intense and formative time, which I look back on with gratitude. For me, the time has now come to step down from MUNICH FABRIC START and turn my attention to new challenges, both personally and professionally.“

Frank Junker, former Creative Director & Shareholder of MUNICH FABRIC START

“We would like to thank Frank Junker for his many years of service and his contribution to the development of the trade show over the past two decades. We respect his decision and wish him all the best for his future endeavours.“ Wolfgang Klinder, Co-Founder & Shareholder of MUNICH FABRIC START

For over twenty years, Frank Junker has been deeply committed to MUNICH FABRIC START, helping to develop it further – for which the management would like to express its special thanks. Through his involvement in the strategic design of the trade show itself and the BLUEZONE and VIEW formats, he has made a significant contribution to firmly establishing these events in German-speaking countries and across Europe. In future, Frank Junker's responsibilities will be restructured and redistributed within the existing MUNICH FABRIC START team. The handover has already taken place in collaboration with the well-established internal team and the remaining long-standing network of external partners.
