Xetma-Technology Department has been newly furnished

XETMA-TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT HAS BEEN NEWLY FURNISHED

The Xetma Group - consisting of Xetma Gematex (D) and Xetma Vollenweider (CH) - has furnished its new Technology Department at the Aue location in Germany with new machinery.

The latest models of the machine types Multisystem and Optima are now available to customers and interested partners for the execution of technological tests.

The Multisystem XREB is a combined raising, emerizing and brush-sueding machine. It puts Xetma's customers in a position to test the suitability of a wide range of finishing technologies for their products with the help of a large number of different card clothings and emery cloths as well as different sueding brushes.

The combined tigering and polishing shearing machine Optima XPS+T is capable of implementing all types of shearing of textile surfaces. It allows to carry out polishing and tigering in various combinations with the shearing process or separately.
In addition to enabling Xetma to test and continually improve its machines, the Technology Department is intended to make it possible for customers to develop together with Xetma new finishing technologies for their product range.

In all, more than 180 different finishing technologies are available for testing purposes at the Xetma Technology Department.
