At Kingpins Amsterdam, ISKO presents its latest FW27/28 collection, a forward-looking exploration of denim that merges advanced color technologies, innovative fabric engineering, and contemporary finishing techniques. Designed to meet the evolving demands of the industry, the collection reflects ISKO’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of authenticity, performance, and responsible innovation, while also embracing a strong lifestyle perspective.

Supreme colors: redefining indigo and beyond

At the heart of the collection lies Supreme Indigo, the season’s defining color story and a next-generation evolution of traditional indigo. Inspired by the authenticity of unique dyeing techniques and handcrafted processes, Supreme Indigo reinterprets heritage through a more advanced, high-definition lens.

This innovation introduces exceptional clarity in wash applications, delivering sharper contrasts and a more pronounced visual depth. The result is a distinctive, almost three-dimensional denim appearance, where yarn character and fabric texture are brought to the forefront.

Key benefits include:

  • High-definition visual depth, enhancing a 3D denim effect
  • Strong yarn character for a more authentic denim look
  • Fast, consistent fading for natural contrast and worn-in effects
  • Compatibility with laser technologies for precise and controlled finishes

Engineered for both creativity and efficiency, Supreme Indigo enables faster and more consistent fading, making it easier to achieve authentic vintage, second-hand, and lived-in looks. From 00s-inspired retro aesthetics to resinated, shiny, and coated finishes, the collection expands creative possibilities through a wide range of expressive surfaces.

New-generation coating and finishing techniques introduce washable leather-like looks, evolving surfaces, and dynamic fabrics that adapt and transform with wear, creating a true “living fabric” experience.

At the same time, authentic softness stands out as a key priority, ensuring that even the most visually striking fabrics maintain a soft, comfortable hand feel.

Expanding this elevated color universe, Supreme Green and Supreme Red introduce bold, high-impact alternatives, each designed to amplify texture visibility and highlight slub characteristics, offering a more expressive and contemporary denim language.

Craft, concept & lifestyle integration

Within this framework, the Craft direction further elevates the collection by emphasizing yarn character, texture, and the authentic essence of denim.

The FW27/28 collection is structured around evolving concepts – including Denim Collective, Comfort Route, High Form, Newest, and Restored Stories – each presenting a unique perspective on how denim continues to evolve across design, functionality, and material innovation.

Beyond technical excellence, the collection embraces a lifestyle-driven approach, offering not only high-performance fabrics but also a strong visual and emotional narrative aligned with contemporary consumer expectations.

Mechanica

Alongside its advancements in color and finishing, ISKO continues to redefine fabric performance with Mechanica, an innovative technology that delivers stretch without the use of elastane.

A platform for denim evolution

At Kingpins Amsterdam, ISKO brings together these innovations into a cohesive vision that reflects the future of denim, where material intelligence, aesthetic depth, and circular thinking coexist seamlessly.

“Kingpins is a key moment for us to engage directly with the denim community,” said Fatma Korkmaz, Product Development Manager at ISKO. “With this collection, we are focusing on the core elements that define denim today – color, comfort, and authenticity – while rethinking how they can evolve through innovation. We are presenting solutions that respond to both creative and technical needs of the industry.”
