Carbon Revolution receives Supplier Quality Excellence Award from General Motors

Carbon Revolution is proud to announce that it has received the 2022 Supplier Quality Excellence Award (SQEA) from General Motors (GM), in recognition of its supply of carbon fibre wheels for the Chevrolet Corvette Z06.

Suppliers who receive the SQEA have met or exceeded GM’s stringent Quality performance criteria and have also received cross-functional support by the entire GM organisation for the 2022 calendar year.

Carbon Revolution CEO, Jake Dingle said the SQEA was a recognition of Carbon Revolution’s ability to consistently provide ‘Quality at Volume’ to GM.

“This is a fantastic accolade and an endorsement of all the efforts that we are putting in to being a high performing Tier 1 supplier to our global OEM customers,” Dingle said.

“This award shows that Carbon Revolution is increasingly being seen as more than a company with a world-first technology; we’re also seen as a supplier that works hard to meet our customers’ expectations and requirements.”

Carbon Revolution’s team remains intensely focused on outstanding quality, as the company supplies amounts of lightweight carbon fibre wheels for its global OEM customers, including GM, Ford, Ferrari, Renault and JLR for the recently revealed Range Rover Sport SV.

Dingle said the commissioning of the first phase of the Mega-line allows greater throughput in Carbon Revolution’s Australian factory. The ongoing development of the Mega-line is being managed to match forecast increasing OEM wheel volume demand, including recently awarded EV programs.
