Stäubli shows newest carpet samples at DOMOTEX 2020

Domotex Hanover is the place to be to see the latest in carpet design and technology for efficient production. Visitors to Stäubli’s Booth D14 – now in Hall 11 – will learn all about Stäubli solutions for carpet weaving and will enjoy discovering the newest carpet samples woven on the ALPHA 500 series of Schönherr Carpet Systems.

The range of carpet designs being offered today is extremely broad, so the market is very challenging, demanding agility in the mill. Carpet weavers must have equipment that allows them to produce unique designs in order to remain competitive. DOMOTEX Southeast Asia 2026 - Building the Gateway to ASEAN's fast-growing flooring market

From 11–13 November 2026, the inaugural DOMOTEX Southeast Asia will take place at BITEC (Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre) in Bangkok, Thailand. Jointly organized by GLOBUS Events Limited and Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai Ltd., with Worldex G.E.C. Co., Ltd. as the local partner, the exhibition marks the expansion of the internationally recognized DOMOTEX brand into Southeast Asia. Object Carpet tests production of rPET BCF yarn on Neumag BCF line

In a joint project with Object Carpet GmbH, Denkendorf; the Institute for Textile Technology (ITA), Augsburg; and Next Generation Recyclingmaschinen GmbH (NGR), Feldkirchen, Austria, Barmag investigated the processing of recycled polyester for BCF yarn. The goal was to evaluate the fundamental suitability of 100% recycled carpet material for reuse in carpet yarn production to create a closed-loop system in carpet manufacturing. To date, commercial rPET BCF processes have been based solely on rPET from bottle pellets.
