New Innovations from James Heal in Shanghai

Visitors to ITMA Asia in Shanghai, which takes place from 16th to 20th of June, will be able to view and be given demonstrations in Hall E3 on Stand A21 of the latest innovations in textile testing from the James Heal range of Testing Instruments and Test Materials.
For decades James Heal, who are based in the UK, have designed, developed and manufactured testing instruments and test materials for fabric and garment manufacturers and independent test houses. The company’s focus is upon producing high quality precision instruments and associated products, which give retailers full confidence in the quality of the garments being produced throughout their global supply chains. James Heal develop new products through innovation, rather than imitation and through the use of their in-house product design and laboratory facilities, the company is able to design, develop and manufacture extraordinary testing solutions. James Heal instruments are used around the world by many well-known retailers renowned for high quality standards including Next, BHS, Marks & Spencer, Victoria’s Secret, Louis Vuitton. The company supplies instruments to almost all of the world’s car manufacturers plus numerous textile and garment manufacturers around the world. At ITMA Asia in June, James Heal personnel will be showcasing their range of testing instruments for physical and colour fastness testing. They will be supported by representatives from Introtech their exclusive authorised dealer in China and Hong Kong for James Heal products.

The exhibit will include demonstrations of new innovations offered by the company. These include; MARTINDALE - abrasion and pilling tester The latest exciting evolution of the James Heal Martindale abrasion and pilling tester will be on show. This instrument is used within the textile and apparel sector for an extensive and continually expanding array of diverse materials. TITAN – universal strength tester The company's latest model of the Titan will also be on show. This easy to use strength tester is designed for testing textiles, non-wovens and leather - in their various forms, and can accommodate tests up to 5000N. GYROWASH - washing and dry cleaning colour fastness tester The GyroWash will also be showcased - this washing and dry cleaning colour fastness tester has interchangeable test vessels which allows tests to be carried out to both European (ISO) and American (AATCC) standards. It is also equipped with a UniController™, a smart and innovative multifunctional interface which gives the user the control they need. TRUBURST - Pneumatic bursting strength tester Featured will be TruBurst - a laser controlled pneumatic bursting strength tester with Dual Control functionality to enable the user to comply with test methods of M&S, adidas and other key standards using the one single instrument. Other instrument on display will be the ORBITOR - Pilling and snagging tester and TRUFADE - an Air-Cooled Light Fastness Tester will also be demonstrated. CONSUMABLES The stand will also showcase the James Heal range of high quality Test Materials as for over 40 years, the company have supplied test material to the highest standard of consistency, reliability and performance.
