VEIT GmbH Presents Energy-Efficient Innovations at Texcare 2012
Landsberg-based VEIT GmbH, a leading manufacturer of ironing technology, is presenting its machines and innovations on a 240 square metres booth in Hall 8 Booth H 70 at the Texcare in Frankurt am Main/Germany.
From 5 to 9 May 2012, VEIT GmbH will be there to welcome textiles and ironing experts from all over the world. The Texcare show is held in four-yearintervals. VEIT’s products are especially interesting for owners of laundries, for dry-cleaners and in the rented textiles industry. You need outstanding machines to get a high-quality final product. VEIT machines are of an excellent quality, highly productive and with an optimised energy efficiency. In 2012, sustainability is more than ever before in the Texcare focus. After all, the entire textiles industry has been discussing and introducing energy-efficient procedures as well as ethically correct purchasing and working conditions. Texcare in Frankfurt will again set the industry’s course for the coming years. VEIT is presenting energy-efficient systems especially for finishing shirts: The new shirt finisher with heat recovery and an intelligent process shortening function is just one example. There is also the shirt pressing system with electrical steam generation, needing less than 20 kW total energy while providing a top performance. There will also be innovative machines for finishing trousers, jackets and coats.
„Our R&D team has managed to reduce energy consumption of our machines by up to 25 per cent.”, says VEIT GmbH President Guenter Veit. “Our innovative technology helps to significantly save costs while at the same time getting even better finishing results.” VEIT GmbH has been a pioneer in developing and manufacturing energy-efficient ironing systems ever since the 1980s. For VEIT’s own production facilities, sustainability is very important too. At the plant in Landsberg, combined heat and power plants were recently installed, and a brand new solar power system on the roof now generates up to 450,000 kWh per year. Juergen Pfattheicher, VEIT sales manager says: „ Our product range covers everything from the classical ironing table with irons and steam generators to presses, toppers, form finishers, shirt finishers and tunnel finishers.”
