Thies units ensure reduced liquor ratios and manpower at Shanghaitex

Thies iMaster H2O (c) 2013 Thies
At the Shanghaitex Exhibition, Thies Textilmaschinen will be exhibiting its highly successful iMaster H₂O dyeing range providing significant water, chemical, heating and cooling energy savings on its Stand A03, Hall W3.

Thies will also be promoting soft flow and air type fabric dyeing machines as well as yarn dyeing and the latest version of its pressure dryer; ensuring cost effective yarn drying.

iMaster H₂O    Although only recently introduced, the iMaster has rapidly become the best selling range of Thies dyeing machines offering significant savings in the costs of utilities. Moreover, the iMaster is equipped with a number of functions to ensure shortest possible process times, to provide low investment and minimum space.

Pressure dryer Compactly designed, offering a reduced ‘footprint’ with improved blower efficiency and reduced pipework, the pressure drying technology is attracting considerable attention. Fully automatic operations for all different types of yarn, with a built-in heat recovery unit for the cooling water, allow the pressure drying system to ensure fast, low cost and quality drying.

The package carriers are lifted out of the dyeing kier and placed directly in to the dryer with no intermediate handling. It is considered that the Thies pressure dryer reduces manpower by at least 4 – 5 operators per day – compared with the route hydro extracting/rf drying.
