Free advertising – with the new OEKO-TEX® Buying Guide - Competition for companies with OEKO-TEX® certificate

With an average of 5000 page views per day and visitors from 165 countries worldwide, the OEKO-TEX® website provides interested companies with OEKO-TEX® certificate with an attractive platform for adding to their own marketing activities by drawing attention to their product range which was tested for harmful substances.

The company entry at www.oeko-tex.com/products is free of charge for all certificate holders and now allows companies to independently add a variety of information and details using the new Self Service Portal (customer area). In addition to this, the OEKO-TEX® Buying Guide was optimised during last year's web relaunch to allow website visitors to find company entries significantly faster and more easily than before.

The password protected Self Service area allows companies to download label templates with their test number in over 30 language versions and different file formats (print and online) for use in product labelling and other marketing tasks. The area also provides nu-merous entry fields for self presentation which certificate holders can use to make their basic entry in the Online Buying Guide as informative as possible for potential customers.

After logging in, the options include:
  • adding a company logo
  • storing a detailed company portrait in any number of languages
  • uploading any number of brand names and logos
  • providing additional contact addresses, web links and contacts (e.g. sales points, online shops etc.)
  • adding any number of product specifications to the Buying Guide dat
  • defining whether a company entry should also be visible on the OEKO-TEX® web pages for end consumers (b2c communication)
  •  
The individual access data for the customer area are available from the relevant OEKO-TEX® institutes and worldwide contact offices as well as from the OEKO-TEX® Certification Centre.
