Rieter highlights its 4 spinning technologies at Shanghaitex

Shanghaitex, one of the most important meeting points in China for the industry, will take place on June 10-13 in Shanghai. Rieter (booth E2B01), on its joint booth with Jossi in Hall E1, will be presenting its 4 spinning technologies, new series of products and innovations as well as the Rieter Com4® yarns.

4 Spinning technologies

On booth E1D11, Rieter will be exhibiting 4 three-meter high columns which represent Rieter’s 4 spinning technologies and The Comfort of Competence, forming a closed area for the yarn corner, spinning units and spare parts cubes.

Here the Rieter yarns Com4®ring, Com4®compact, Com4®rotor and Com4®jet and fabrics made from these yarns will be presented. In addition, spinning units of the 4 spinning systems and original Rieter technology components will be on show.

New products and innovations

The SB-D 22s double-head draw frame without autoleveling, designed for the Chinese market, is not only economically beneficial for customers but also guarantees maximum machine efficiency with a unique can changer up to 1 000 mm.

The J 20 air-jet spinning machine: Rieter customers now profit from a wider application range in material and yarn count. From fibers & yarns to ready-to-wear apparels: live knitting of the Com4®jet yarn on a Santoni knitting machine will be demonstrated in the “fashion manufacturing lines" corner of the ShanghaiTex exhibition.

The G 32 ring spinning machine complements Rieter’s ring spinning technology for standard applications. The textile-technological functions of the mill-proven G 35 model have been optimized to achieve cost-efficient yarn production. Customers profit from a top quality machine that combines efficient energy utilization and superior yarn quality with high spinning speeds. Rieter Annual General Meeting 2026: Shareholders approve all board proposals

At the Annual General Meeting of Rieter Holding Ltd. held on April 16, 2026, 342 shareholders representing 64.0% of the share capital approved all motions proposed by the Board of Directors. The shareholders adopted the Annual Report as well as the Financial Statements and Consolidated Financial Statements for 2025. They also granted discharge to the members of the Board of Directors and the Group Executive Committee for their activities in the reporting year. In an advisory vote, the 2025 Report on Non-Financial Matters was also approved.

Grasim Industries announces fresh investment of ₹3094 Crore to expand Lyocell capacity

Grasim Industries Limited, the flagship company of the Aditya Birla Group and a global leader in cellulosic fibres, today announced an investment of ₹3,094 crore, for Phase II Lyocell capacity of 110K TPA at Harihar, Karnataka.
