When the largest fair of technologies for the textile industry in the Southeast “Textnotêxtil Brasil” will open its doors at the 15th April there will be fourteen textile machinery companies from Germany to presenting their latest solutions.

At the important exhibition the official German participation is sponsored by the German government and initiated by VDMA Textile Machinery Association and provides a unique occasion to exchange information and experience, establish new contacts or deepen those that exist.

The German team is looking forward to meeting visitors at the German information booth and to answering questions and trade inquiries.

The German exports of textile machinery to Brazil amounted to roundabout 90 million Euros in 2012. Many German companies can proudly point to decades of close customer relationships. This success is no surprise. Textile manufacturers in Brasil and other Latin American countries relying on German technology are aware of the long-term advantages Made in Germany offers: Due to low maintenance charges and reliability in production, the initial investment for a German textile machine pays off after a few years. Today, textile producers throughout Latin America are increasingly paying attention to the issue of sustainability. On the one hand there are requirements from retailers, brands, customers or governments that have to be met. On the other hand sustainability has also a clear economic aspect: Volatile prices for commodities and for energy are obviously worrisome signs for textile manufacturers. More and more textile manufacturers are studying their material flow and their production process under the aspect of sustainability with regard to efficiency. The German textile machinery manufacturers have developed pioneering technologies that enable substantial material, energy and water savings. These solutions Made in Germany cover the whole textile chain and help textile companies to make their production sustainable and more competitive.

The German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry(AUMA) as well as the VDMA Textile Machinery Association wish all exhibitors and visitors a successful trade fair visit, interesting contacts and conversations and a good exchange of experience between partners.
