RIETER presents all 4 spinning systems at the ITMA ASIA + CITME 2012

Rieter R 60 Rotor Spinning Machine (c) 2012 Rieter
On its exhibition stand at the ITMA Asia + CITME 2012 (June 12th - 16th, 2012), Rieter will be demonstrating its competence across the entire spinning process and presenting all 4 end spinning systems live on the stand (Hall W2, Booth No. A10). For the upstream fiber and spinning plant preparation, Rieter now offers 1 000 mm cans throughout thereby ensuring higher efficiency and convenience in the spinning plant. Multimedia presentations will convey to visitors a striking impression of the advantages and features of the new Rieter E 80 combing flagship.

The know-how relating to financing, spinning mill planning, use of the right technological elements, selection of the correct spinning process as well as many other factors is necessary to achieve success in the operation of a spinning plant. Rieter is presenting all this expertise at the ITMA Asia + CITME 2012. Numerous highlights and innovations can be admired live on the Rieter exhibition stand. Here a brief overview:

- Rieter provides the opportunity to see the new 1.5 m wide C 70 card with the biggest active carding area.

  • The new E 80 comber with unrivaled quality and production levels will be introduced by Rieter with a multimedia presentation.
  • The G 32 ring spinning machine (operational) produces ring and compact yarn – quality controlled by the ISM individual spindle sensor and the SPIDERweb mill monitoring system.
  • Excellent rotor yarn with yarn-like piecers will be produced by the new fully-automatic R 60 rotor spinning machine (operational).
  • The new double-sided J 20 air-jet spinning machine (operational) will be introduced for the first time to the Asian market.

What the benefits and characteristics of the 4 spinning systems mean for downstream processing can be experienced by visitors in the Technology Corner. Here end products and fabric samples of the 4 Rieter yarns are available. The latest retrofits and high-quality original spare parts will be presented by Rieter’s spare parts experts.

The exhibits in detail:

C 70 Card

The C 70 high-performance card achieves excellent quality values at highest production for all yarn applications. This is based on the well-proven 1.5 m working width and maximum active carding area. Focus is placed on the economic production of carded and combed ring yarns. Precise flats guiding and innovation in the pre- and post-carding area allow, with the selective waste extraction, an excellent raw material exploitation and sliver quality. With the integrated grinding system IGS, the sliver quality is maintained at a high level. By utilizing draw frame modules instead of the classical can coilers, the customer has the possibility to optimally layout the process.

E 80 Comber (Multimedia Presentation)

The E 80 comber meets the highest standards in terms of productivity, quality and economy together with a high degree of flexibility. The effective production performance of the E 80 comber in combination with the fully automated ROBOlap lap piecing system is 2 tonnes/day. The lead in combing technology has been extended further through C•A•P•DQ (Computer Aided Process Development). With outstanding fiber selection and optimal machine running behavior, the comber achieves superior quality values with maximum economy. The mill-proven ROBOlap fully automated lap changing and piecing system is a unique feature and still sets the standard for modern combing operations.

1 000 m Cans from the Card to the Comber (Multimedia Presentation) Large 1 000 mm cans can now be utilized in the Rieter fiber and spinning preparation from the card to the comber. The number of different cans in the spinning mill can thereby be reduced which keeps the investment costs low. Thanks to larger can sizes, the operator time is reduced and the yarn quality improved as a result of the lower number of sliver piecings.

G 32 Ring Spinnning Machine

The G 32 ring spinning machine complements Rieter’s ring spinning technology for standard applications. The textile-technological functions of the mill-proven G 35 model have been optimized to achieve cost-efficient yarn production. Customers profit from a top quality machine that combines efficient energy utilization and superior yarn quality with high spinning speeds. Rieter’s G 32 ring spinning machine can be equipped with EliTe®CompactSet for compact spinning applications. The well-known EliTe®CompactSet and Rieter’s cost-efficient ring spinning technology of G 32 with the Rieter P3-1 guide arm have been combined to achieve high value compact yarn quality on a reasonable investment cost.

R 60 Rotor Spinning Machine

The new R 60 fully automatic rotor spinning machine sets new standards in quality, productivity and flexibility with reduced energy consumption. The improved spinning stability of the new S 60 spinning unit allows a productivity increase of up to 5 % over other machines, with better yarn quality. The productivity potential with 540 rotors and up to 4 fast robots is enormous. The option of independent machine sides offers additional flexibility. The uniform yarn quality of the R 60 with the yarn-like piecing technology AEROpiecing® guarantees the user a leading position as yarn supplier. The new design of the spinning unit and the controls simplifies operation and reduces running costs.

J 20 Air-Jet Spinning Machine The J 20 air-jet spinning machine features up to 120 high-production spinning units. The J 20 can be equipped for separate production on both machine sides, i.e. two different yarn qualities can be spun simultaneously on one machine. In conjunction with the newly developed spinning unit, the J 20 offers maximum yarn quality, productivity and flexibility. The unique quality characteristics of the air-jet spun yarn are reflected in benefits for spinning mills, downstream processors and end users.
