Tire Cord: Inventing technology With its experience built over decades and orders to be delivered in China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Eastern and Western Europe, USA and Brazil, VERDOL remains a major partner of the tire cord manufacturers all over the world. The success of the CP machines shows, year after year, its complete suitability with the market needs, not only in terms of yarn quality and energy consumption, but also in term of environmental impact of the machines themselves. That is why all CP machines are equipped as a standard with heat extraction system fully integrated in the machine frame allowing reduction on air conditioning cost and consequently finished yarn cost. VERDOL will present on its booth a running CP 20 for processing different types of Tire Cord. The new version of the CP 20 has a complete new design from the frame to the textile equipment, among other advantages such as a better efficiency thanks to combined labor saving solutions together with a higher spindle number per square meter, the swiveling motion spindle, the effortless cradle, the very low profile creel, the energy saving thanks to the ecoTex® spindle…

Industrial Yarns: One step further in innovation Every application has its specific twisting and cabling quality demands in order to fulfill the final end-use requirements. The range of VERDOL cabling, twisting and assembling machines exactly fulfils this challenging target. The UT, UTC and UTW machines are known all over the world for their huge flexibility. Different products can be twisted on each spindle thanks to fully individual driven positions, from spindle to take-up.   • The UTC 60 for the perfect twisting, cabling and direct cabling of all types of industrial yarns,

Grasim Industries announces fresh investment of ₹3094 Crore to expand Lyocell capacity

Grasim Industries Limited, the flagship company of the Aditya Birla Group and a global leader in cellulosic fibres, today announced an investment of ₹3,094 crore, for Phase II Lyocell capacity of 110K TPA at Harihar, Karnataka. This expansion will consist of 2 lines of 55K TPA (150 Tons per day) each. The first line is expected to be commissioned by 2028, and the second line is expected to be commissioned by 2030.
