Stork Prints confirms it’s leading position for inkjet printing at the FESPA Digital 2013

Visitors to the Stork Prints stand (Booth: A68S) at the FESPA Digital on June 25 through 29 in London, will be able to see how the company continues to lead the way as a total systems solutions provider for the textile and graphics printing industry. On display will be the complete digital inks portfolio for the fashion, home deco and label & packaging printing industries.
Stork Prints is a pioneer in digital printing and active in the digital printing industry for over 25 years and has over 4000 inkjet systems installed worldwide.

Digital inks for textile] Stork Prints is one of the leading digital ink producers to the industry who also builds and sells printing machines and RIP software.  Visitors to the Stork Prints stand (Booth: A68S) can see the complete digital ink portfolio,  presented by plenty of printed samples with Stork Prints’ FLARE, NEBULA and QUASAR inks. The NEBULA inks are especially designed for multi-pass printers based on Kyocera print heads, such as Stork Prints Sphene, MS JP-series and Reggiani Renoir printers. Besides the Reactive and Acid inksets there is also a new ReAcid inkset that allows printing on both natural fibers as well as PolyAmide Lycra fabrics. With the special Reactive Deep Black ink, you get a profoundly intense and dark black that really has to be seen to be believed. Stork Prints will also presents its complete range of FLARE inks that run on all printers using Epson print heads, including Robustelli Monna Lisa printers. FLARE comes in the full portfolio of Reactive, Acid, ReAcid, Disperse, Sublimation and Pigment inks, in 2 kgs cans as well as Stork Prints’ patented ink bags. Stork Prints has developed a dedicated range of inks, known as QUASAR, for high speed single pass printing with Kyocera heads, such as the MS LaRio. The suitability of QUASAR inks for the LaRio stems from Stork Prints’ considerable experience in developing inks for its own single-pass digital printing machines for label printing, the DSI®. For a number of years the company has been optimising ink performance for high-speed digital printing machines to help deliver superior image quality. This includes patented technology to prevent striping and branding. QUASAR ReAcid and ReActive inks are used in all MS-LaRio printers in Italy, Spain and Turkey so far.

[B:Digital inks for labels & packaging Stork Prints will also be demonstrating its UV inks dedicated to the company’s DSI® UV inkjet label printer. These Stork Prints’ own-brand inks, all developed and produced in-house, give superior label printing results characterized by photographic quality, a rotary screen “look and feel”, a high resistance to light and impressive scratch-proofing.

The Stork Prints DSI® UV inkjet label printer is the modular concept for short and medium run digital label printing. In fact, the DSI UV inkjet printer takes modularity to the next level in 3 aspects. Firstly there’s modularity in the configuration: stand-alone digital printing or a complete line with in-line (semi-rotary) converting. Secondly, there’s modularity in print positions. The DSI comes with four CMYK print heads as standard, although an additional six can be added to enable options like digital white, digital primer and an extended color gamut through the colors orange and violet. Thirdly, there’s modularity in printing widths, ranging from 135 mm to the standard 330 mm. This versatile unit is ideal for markets ranging from food and personal care to beverages, wine and spirits, household goods and outdoor applications. The DSI is a truly cost-effective UV inkjet label printer, offering sublime printing quality at amazing speeds. Its combination of photographic quality and a rotary screen “look and feel” makes it suitable for everything from short- to medium- and even long-run jobs. The DSI achieves high visual resolution on labels and reproduces tonal values as low as 1%. Printing on many different types of substrates can be accomplished and the new digital primer even enables printing on machine coated paper. Repeat lengths are unlimited.

Unrivalled quality and support Of course, all ink types have the added advantage of the unrivalled Stork Prints quality and service support. The specialists of Stork Prints will also be on hand to demonstrate and explain about numerous examples of superior textiles and label samples - all made using Stork Prints inks and printing systems. And they will be only too happy to explain how, in today's printing world, their rich history - coupled with unrivalled service and application know-how - makes them a stable and reliable partner that can really add value to their customers' business.

Solutions for every phase of the production process And there's more. Stork Prints will be demonstrating that they are the only global partner that can offer solutions for every phase of the production process as well as consumables including (digital) pre-press, both digital and rotary screen printing and drying. In Stork Prints words:"we are a unique, stable and total system solution provider in today’s dynamic market of printing."
