James Heal’s First Exhibition in Cambodia a Success

James Heal exhibited in Cambodia for the first time last month - at the Cambodia International Machinery Industrial Fair (CIMIF).
Held between 17th and 20th August at the Diamond Island Convention and Exhibition Center in Phnom Penh, the exhibition showcased companies associated with the textile and garment industry from around the world.

Exhibiting with James Heal were Thach Anh Vang Company Limited - exclusive James Heal agents in Vietnam and Cambodia.

James Heal displayed information and products from their four divisions – precision Testing Instruments, high quality Test Materials, global UKAS accredited Service and Calibration and expert Technical Assistance.

International Sales Manager Simon Dakin, who represented James Heal at the event, says:

"We are excited about the prospects Cambodia has to offer. The exhibition surpassed our expectations in terms of visitors, and we met with a number of existing and potential customers. Garment manufacturing is beginning to have a strong presence in the country, and we look forward to working with our agents Thach Anh Vang to explore the opportunities in this emerging market. Grasim Industries announces fresh investment of ₹3094 Crore to expand Lyocell capacity

Grasim Industries Limited, the flagship company of the Aditya Birla Group and a global leader in cellulosic fibres, today announced an investment of ₹3,094 crore, for Phase II Lyocell capacity of 110K TPA at Harihar, Karnataka. This expansion will consist of 2 lines of 55K TPA (150 Tons per day) each. The first line is expected to be commissioned by 2028, and the second line is expected to be commissioned by 2030.
