Development of new markets through “Fashion Select”

Develop and manufacture products faster with Assyst sotware (c) 2013 Human Solutions
At EuroCIS 2013, Assyst (Hall 9, booth 9F26-8), a subsidiary of the Human Solutions Group, will be showcasing a selection of its products. The EuroCIS 2013, in Dusseldorf for the second time, offers IT vendors an attractive platform for the entire fashion industry.

As the market and competence leader, the Human Solutions Group — together with its subsidiaries Assyst (Munich) and AVM (Aschaffenburg) — offers 3D bodyscanning, high-tech CAD and PLM/ERP solutions for the fast development of products that are both customer-oriented and market-driven.

The Assyst GmbH will be in the “Fashion Select Village” in Hall 9 at booth 9F26-8, showcasing solutions designed specifically for the fashion industry and the fashion trade.

Assyst has adopted the theme “Innovative technology solutions for retail” for the EuroCIS trade fair — and visitors will be shown new ways to develop and manufacture their products faster with less costs... and therefore more effectively. This means to control and manage the entire value chain in development ― from product management with framework collection planning, to designs and collection management right through to pattern construction and production preparation with sample process management and preliminary costing. But this all gets really interesting when PLM and ERP harmonize perfectly and are available everywhere.

Commenting on the Group’s presence at the EuroCIS, Dr. Andreas Seidl, Managing Director of Human Solutions Group, said, “By participating in ‘Fashion Select’, we hope to open up new opportunities and generate additional business from existing customers in the fashion industry. We already count many well-known fashion companies among our customers, but we’re not known for sitting on our laurels — and our aim is the continuous expansion of our customer base throughout the industry.”

EuroCIS Forum

The EuroCIS Forum is one of the supporting programs of the IT fair. In this forum, projects, trends and developments in IT and security technology will be presented in brief presentations using examples currently used in practice. Ms. Ulrike Bals, PLM application consultant at Assyst, will also be giving a lecture entitled “PLM and CAD - a strong interface” on the last day of the fair, Thursday 21 February, from 12.30 to 13.00. The lecture will be translated into English. Visitors to the EuroCIS can see the presentations on the EuroCIS Forum within the exhibition hall at no extra cost — and learn about the latest developments in brief lectures.
