OptiTex expansion into the European market begins with new VP

OptiTex slates itself for a greater level of expansion into Europe with the appointment of Amnon Shalev as the new VP of Sales and Marketing for Europe.
Shalev has solid experience managing and developing direct and indirect sales channels and introducing new technologies for companies such as HP and Kodak where he was instrumental in the development of their product lines. Following Shalev's recent appointment, OptiTex is in the process of nominating new distributors in Europe as part of its recent expansion.

"The appointment of Amnon Shalev is a response to the growing needs and expectations of our various European partnerships." Says Ran Machtinger, CEO of OptiTex. "We will continue to offer unique solutions and promotions, while developing a distribution network that will be closer to the end users"
Shalev has an engineering degree in electrical & control systems and Marketing MBA studies from Henley College in The Netherlands .

Shalev was inaugurated as VP of Sales and Marketing at OptiTex at the Internet Area in Automotive Interiors Expo 2011 on May 17-19, 2011 at the Messe Stuttgart, where he presented OptiTex latest solutions and future markets.
